**Role Overview:**
Seeking a Senior Java Developer with substantial experience in public sector eligibility systems (such as Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF). You will take the technical lead on highly available and secure enterprise applications, guiding the full project lifecycle from architecture to deployment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead technical design, development, and deployment of mission-critical eligibility solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and transform them into technical specifications.
- Mentor team members and enforce best coding practices, security standards, and design patterns.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing eligibility modules.
**Required Experience:**
- 6+ years in enterprise application development, preferably within eligibility, benefits determination, or case management systems.
- Direct experience with health and human services programs (e.g., SNAP/CalFresh, TANF, Medicaid/Medi-Cal).
- Successful delivery of at least two projects implementing eligibility or case management software.
- IE, Java, React, SpringBoot, JavaScript, Oracle, Domain Knowledge of SNAP, TANF, MA
