Wisconsin residency required. The IT Project Manager will be 95-99% remote, but staff may need to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.
Project duties will include project management/ coordination, direction, guidance and consultation of multiple projects using waterfall, agile and hybrid agile methodologies.
Requires knowledge and understanding of standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework. Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works with project team and sponsor and has experience documenting risks and developing mitigation plans. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers.

- PMO support tasks such as managing action items and backlog, tracking risks and issues, preparing instructions, preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
- Preparing and managing communication plans, assisting with process improvements, tracking resource allocation, preparing status reports, managing work plans.
- Serving as a liaison between business and technical partners.
qualifications:
Top skills:
- Application Development and Support project management- all phases of the systems development life cycle - supporting a large system (Health and Human Services, Insurance, Banking, etc.) (8+ years)
- Experience with system modernization projects (3+ years)
- Experience working with a business customer to document requirements, analysis and design deliverables (10+ years)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge and experience with child support system certification
- Experience executing and documenting the Test Deck for IV-D system Certification
- Financial and Case Management Child Support Enforcement: Systems development and maintenance experience
- Experience with an ALM tool (Azure DevOps, JIRA)
