Job Description :
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, ArgoCD, Istio, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS to build and manage scalable cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure on Amazon EKS.
- Build and maintain GitOps deployment pipelines using ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD.
- Implement and manage Istio service mesh for traffic management and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable application deployments.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, security, and cloud teams to improve platform reliability.
- Implement best practices for containerization, scalability, and high availability.
- Enhance platform security through IAM, secrets management, and network policies.
- Support observability, cost optimization, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
- Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps, GitLab, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, networking, IAM, and security.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and cloud-native architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of container security and policy-as-code tools.
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
- Experience in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
