Position: AI-First Engineer Oracle SCM Applications Suite (AI-Fueled SDLC & Modernization)
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Rate: $55/hr on W2 (Negotiable)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AI-First Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS who has successfully leveraged AI across the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience applying AI technologies to improve software design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply AI throughout the entire SDLC, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Utilize AI and LLMs for business requirement analysis, technical design generation, impact assessments, fit-gap analysis, and Oracle Cloud upgrade assessments.
- Develop and modernize Oracle SCM applications using AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Implement AI-driven code generation, optimization, refactoring, and legacy modernization.
- Build Oracle SCM customizations, integrations, extensions, reports, and automation solutions.
- Develop AI-powered testing strategies including functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT.
- Implement AI-assisted test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, and regression automation.
- Integrate AI-driven code reviews, security analysis, documentation generation, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support AI-enabled deployment automation, release readiness, monitoring, and operational analytics.
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in development productivity, code quality, testing efficiency, deployment speed, and issue resolution through AI adoption.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle technologies including:
- PL/SQL
- Java
- JavaScript
- Groovy
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Oracle APEX
- Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools:
- GitHub Copilot
- Oracle Code Assist
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- OCI Generative AI
- Agentic AI Frameworks
- Prompt Engineering
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience integrating AI into CI/CD, code reviews, testing, documentation, and DevOps workflows.
- Ability to demonstrate quantifiable business outcomes achieved through AI-enabled software engineering.
