Summary
Overview:
State client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Architect to lead its Enterprise Data Management Strategy and Data Warehouse Modernization initiative. This role will define the future-state data architecture, evaluate modern cloud technologies, establish implementation roadmaps, and provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide data transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Enterprise Data Management Strategy initiative.
- Define enterprise data architecture and modernization roadmap.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms and modern data technologies.
- Develop execution plans, implementation strategy, and cost estimates.
- Lead technology selection and solution architecture.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive enterprise initiatives.
- Establish best practices for enterprise data governance and architecture.

- Enterprise Data Architecture & Solution Architecture
- Data Warehouse Modernization & Data Management Strategy
- Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS & Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Modern Data Warehouses: Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Google BigQuery & Amazon Redshift
- Data Lake & Lakehouse Architectures: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric & Delta Lake
- ETL/ELT Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, dbt & Fivetran
- Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management & Data Quality
- Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
- Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Technology Evaluation
