Pay Range: $73.27 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design comprehensive migration plans and solutions tailored to the customer's needs and architecture.
- Act as the technical expert for all aspects of data migration during implementation.
- Deploy solutions following best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer for customer empowerment.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies and how to position our solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with System Integrator consultants to ensure successful deployment in customer environments.
- Create presentations and document learnings from projects, developing utilities to streamline migration activities.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously enhance our offerings.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 8–11 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, database administration, or technical consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience leading end-to-end data warehouse migrations from legacy on-premises platforms to cloud-based platforms.
- Expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark, and Python.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics, along with scripting languages like Python, Bash, and Shell.
- Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools.
- Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g., Hadoop, HBase).
- Familiarity with common BI and data exploration tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools.
- SnowPro Core Certification.
