What You’ll Do
Maximize machinery uptime by executing rapid, precise troubleshooting and repairs on complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical production systems.
Execute robust predictive and preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment longevity and guarantee manufacturing efficiency.
Architect solutions for chronic mechanical and quality issues by collaborating directly with floor operations and production personnel.
Perform precise welding, machining, custom fabrication, and rigging tasks to modify, repair, or build industrial components.
Construct and assemble intricate machinery and heavy equipment using advanced hand tools, power tools, and precision alignment techniques.
Operate heavy hoisting and lifting machinery, including cranes, jacks, and tractors, to safely position industrial assets during installation or overhaul.
Champion a rigorous safety culture by identifying operational hazards, reporting vulnerabilities, and strictly adhering to federal, provincial, and internal environmental and safety mandates.
Synthesize operational data by maintaining flawless documentation, including comprehensive work orders, parts inventory tracking, and quality assurance sign-offs.
Uphold strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal quality control standards to safeguard product integrity and operational compliance.
What You Bring
Credentials: Possession of a valid, active Ontario Industrial Millwright Certificate (433A).
Experience: A proven track record of 5 to 10 years of industrial maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or heavy equipment environment.
Technical Mastery: Deep domain knowledge of compressed air, industrial pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic infrastructure.
Machining & Rigging: Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing general-purpose machine shop equipment, executing structural welding, and directing complex rigging operations.
Autonomy & Collaboration: Ability to self-direct and solve complex mechanical problems with minimal supervision while seamlessly integrating into a collaborative team environment.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate technical issues and interface with cross-functional leadership.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Core Compensation: Highly competitive hourly wage ranging from $44.00 to $45.00 CAD per hour, structured as a full-time, direct-hire annual salary equivalent based on regular shift hours.
