SAP S/4HANA Business Process Expert - ManufacturingAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Process Expert specializing in Manufacturing to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives across production, quality, and plant maintenance. In this role, you will evaluate, optimize, and enhance business processes within the Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) modules in S/4HANA and ECC.
You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand operational needs, identify improvement opportunities, apply SAP best practices, and partner with the SAP Digital Transformation team to implement scalable solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep SAP expertise, hands-on manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful SAP implementations.
Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing & Operations Support- Provide functional support for manufacturing, quality, and plant maintenance processes, including production planning, scheduling, confirmations, capacity management, and shop-floor operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP supply chain planning processes, offering guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
Process Optimization & Implementation- Identify and implement business process improvements using SAP best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with functional analysts, consultants, and developers to configure or customize SAP solutions that meet business requirements.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of implemented improvements and adjust processes as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Documentation, Training & Change Enablement- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including workflows, procedures, and training materials.
- Deliver training and support to end-users on new SAP processes, tools, and functionality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with business partners to understand operational challenges and translate them into SAP-enabled solutions.
- Ensure alignment between SAP processes and broader organizational goals, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of SAP PP/QM/MM modules and related business processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration across PP/MM/SRM and other modules.
- Proven ability to diagnose complex business process issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to create clear, user-friendly process and training documentation.
- SAP S/4HANA experience required; SAP ECC experience is a plus.
Preferred- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules.
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments and production planning.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and structured testing practices.
