Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and support end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR/R2R) processes across SAP S/4HANA Finance, ensuring alignment between business requirements, financial operations, and system functionality.

·        Provide functional leadership across Financial Accounting processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), taxation, intercompany accounting, journal entries, and financial close.

·        Drive financial close activities, including period-end and year-end closing, account reconciliation, financial postings, and reporting-related processes.

·        Lead discussions on finance process design, functional requirements, solution approaches, and opportunities for process improvement.

·        Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and capabilities, including the Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, SAP Fiori applications, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Financial Closing Cockpit, and Advanced Financial Closing (AFC).

·        Provide functional expertise in Management Accounting and Controlling processes, including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and related financial controlling activities.

·        Understand the integration between Financial Accounting and Management Accounting and ensure consistent financial data flow across relevant processes.

·        Assess existing finance processes, identify functional gaps, evaluate business impacts, and recommend practical solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.

·        Facilitate functional workshops, stakeholder meetings, process walkthroughs, and solution design sessions with business and technical teams.

·        Lead client discussions and communicate complex financial and SAP-related concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and C-level executives.

·        Translate business and finance requirements into functional recommendations, solution designs, and actionable deliverables.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, technology, and other functional workstreams, to resolve issues and manage dependencies.

·        Drive decisions, follow up on action items, and influence other teams and leaders to maintain project momentum and achieve business objectives.

·        Take ownership of functional workstreams and deliverables, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective execution of agreed priorities.

·        Provide consultative guidance to client stakeholders on finance process optimization, SAP S/4HANA capabilities, and functional solution alternatives.

·        Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex finance process and SAP functional issues, coordinating with relevant teams as needed.

·        Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen consistency across accounting and controlling functions.

·        Operate effectively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where priorities, requirements, and responsibilities may evolve.

·        Demonstrate agility and adaptability in responding to changing client needs, shifting priorities, and emerging business requirements.

·        Work independently with minimal direction while maintaining strong communication, accountability, and coordination with stakeholders.

·        Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges, and drive appropriate actions to address them.
