Processor Operations Support Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Processor Operations Support Engineer to support payment processing systems and transaction platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, secure, and uninterrupted financial transaction processing while adhering to SLAs and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 247 production support for payment processing systems
• Monitor transaction flows, batch jobs, and real-time processing systems
• Troubleshoot processing failures, job abends, and transaction exceptions
• Perform file transfers, reconciliation, and validation checks
• Work with banks, processors, and internal teams for issue resolution
• Handle incident, problem, and change management (ITIL)
• Support EOD, EOM, and EOY batch processing cycles

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Payment / Processor Operations Support
• Hands-on with ACH, EFT, card processing, or transaction platforms
• Experience in batch processing & job monitoring tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
• Strong troubleshooting and coordination skills
• Knowledge of ITIL processes

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FIS / Fiserv / TSYS / First Data
• Exposure to mainframe or distributed payment platforms
• Knowledge of reconciliation & settlement processes
• Experience with monitoring & automation tools
