Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking an experienced Integration Architect - SAP BTP to support a large-scale, greenfield customer technology and customer information system transformation for a regulated energy and utilities organization. The program is modernizing customer service and clean-energy program capabilities, replacing legacy Salesforce environments, preserving required business logic, and reducing technical debt through a clean future-state architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define integration strategy, architecture principles, reusable patterns, governance, and lifecycle standards for SAP BTP and connected platforms
* Architect integrations using SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, adapters, connectors, and related BTP capabilities
* Design integrations connecting Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Clean Energy Module, SAP applications, customer systems, and data platforms
* Translate business processes, nonfunctional requirements, mappings, security needs, and legacy interface behavior into target-state integration architecture
* Define synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, batch, file, API, and hybrid-cloud integration patterns
* Set standards for transformation, routing, canonical models, error handling, retries, monitoring, certificates, identity, audit, and operational support
* Review designs and implementation quality, lead technical decisions, support POCs, and unblock integration teams
* Rationalize legacy interfaces and prevent unnecessary replication of technical debt
* Communicate architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, costs, and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* 12+ years of enterprise integration experience, including principal-level architecture ownership using SAP BTP or SAP Integration Suite
* Deep experience with Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, adapters, security, monitoring, and integration governance
* Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications, including Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio or OmniScript, Data Cloud, and clean-energy program capabilities or comparable platforms
* Strong knowledge of APIs, messaging, events, batch, mappings, transformations, certificates, OAuth, error handling, resiliency, and operational monitoring
* Experience with SAP applications such as S/4HANA, ECC, IS-U, CRM, Ariba, SuccessFactors, or comparable enterprise systems
* Ability to act as a design authority while remaining hands-on enough to review designs, guide implementation, and resolve delivery issues
* Exceptional executive and technical communication skills across distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications:
* Utility customer information system, billing, or clean-energy program integration experience
* SAP BTP, Integration Suite, architecture, cloud, or Salesforce credentials
* Experience modernizing legacy middleware and establishing enterprise integration governance
