A remote, full time opportunity is available for a Software Engineer in Test to join a technology focused consulting organization supporting large scale enterprise systems across the US. This role focuses on building and owning test automation for a modern loan origination platform using TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, Angular, and a wide range of AWS services. Candidates must be based in the United States and authorized to work full time.
This position is ideal for someone who wants more than just writing tests. The engineer in this role will shape quality strategy, influence architecture decisions, and partner closely with senior developers and product leaders. Required Skills and Experience
Strong software engineering background with a focus on test automation
High proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
Experience designing and maintaining automated end to end test suites
Experience testing both frontend and backend systems
Working knowledge of SQL and Linux command line
Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
Experience building or running performance and load tests
Exposure to k6, JMeter, or similar frameworks
Experience testing systems deployed to AWS
Experience working in Agile or product focused teams
