Job Overview:

Pay Range: $33.00hr - $38.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, IT Operations, Database Operations, Observability, or Infrastructure Support.
  • 1+ years of experience leading technical teams, incident response, operational governance, stakeholder management, and service ownership.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server Administration and Support.
  • Experience with Oracle Support and Operations.
  • Experience with Datadog Administration and Observability.
  • Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and Informatica.
  • Experience in Incident and Problem Management.
  • Experience with Performance Monitoring and Tuning.
  • Experience in Production Support and SWAT Engagements.
  • Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience in Monitoring and Alert Management.
  • Ability to create and maintain Documentation and Runbooks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and passion for technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily operational support activities and assist engineers in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Support production incidents, critical escalations, and lead technical investigations.
  • Support deployments, change implementation, and perform monitoring onboarding and configuration.
  • Define monitoring standards and governance while creating and maintaining monitors and dashboards.
  • Drive alert optimization, noise reduction, and improve monitoring coverage and observability maturity.
  • Partner with application teams, DBAs, and engineering teams to support vendor engagements.
  • Participate in P0/P1/P2 incidents and SWAT bridges to assess business and operational impact.
  • Provide leadership and stakeholder updates during incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts to reduce recurring incidents and alert fatigue.
  • Identify technical debt and improvement opportunities to enhance service reliability.
  • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities and partner with automation engineers on operational workflows.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to drive cross-training and knowledge sharing.
  • Own KPI/SLA reviews and maintain governance dashboards and service metrics.
  • Support migration activities and automation transformation roadmaps.
