Position: SAP EWM RF Technical Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 3+ Months Contract Position

Description:

• Enhancement/development per functional specification to standard/custom EWM RF Transactions.
• Technical Solution Design: Design and develop custom solutions within SAP EWM using Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) to meet specific warehouse requirements.
• RF Framework Customization: Implement custom RF screens, menu structures, and logical transaction flows.
• Screen Programming: Develop Process Before Output (PBO) and Process After Input (PAI) function modules for RF transactions.
• Display Profile Management: Configure and customize display profiles to optimize layouts for specific hardware like handheld scanners, vehicle-mounted terminals, or touch devices.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize warehouse operations and system performance, ensuring real-time data processing for high-volume transactions.
• Enhancement Implementation: Leverage BADIs, User Exits, and the Post Processing Framework (PPF) to automate or extend standard EWM processes.
• Integration & Interfaces: Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and Web Services for communication between EWM and external systems (e.g., MFS, conveyor systems).
• Documentation & Testing: Prepare technical specifications, unit test plans, and support end-user training for mobile processes.
