Job Description:Parsons is looking for a talented
Level 4 ISSE to join our growing team!
What You'll Be Doing: - Joining an exciting team providing Information System Security Engineer solutions to a challenging and dynamic IC customer in the Chantilly area.
- Responsible for conducting IS security engineering activities throughout the system development/acquisition lifecycles.
- Responsible for capturing and refining information protection requirements to ensure their integration into IS acquisitions and IS development through purposeful security design or configuration.
- Integrates security functional requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables using systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- Coordinate activities with A & A stake-holders and shall be knowledgeable of Analytics/Metrics tools to identify trends and patterns across the Enterprise.
- Lead a team of two Engineers and three Information System Security Officers.
What Required Skills You'll Bring: - Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree + 15 years of IAE experience OR Master's Degree + 12 years of IAE experience. There's flexibility on this requirement, pending Customer approval.
- Active IAT Level III Certification
What Desired Skills You Might Bring:- Knowledge of and experience with ICD 503 and the Government's certification and accreditation process; Networks, computer components, system protocols, and COTS technology; System methodologies including: client/server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers, firewalls, WAN, MAN, LAN, switches, and routers; Software integration of COTS and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) products; VMware, Xen, Hyper V and other virtualization platforms
- Configuring and supporting, at a minimum, Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS;
- Configuring and supporting, at a minimum, VMware, Xen, Hyper V;
- Software engineering
- Program design and implementation
- Configuration management
- System maintenance
- Integration testing
- Information system engineering.
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $144,800.00 - $260,600.00
