The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for overseeing the testing activities related to Testing Tools and Test Automation (EMB), Selenium, Java. The primary objective will be to ensure the quality and efficiency of testing processes and deliverables.
Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for testing tools and test automation projects
Lead and manage the testing team to execute test cases, report defects, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones
Utilize testing tools and test automation (EMB), selenium, java to automate test cases and enhance test efficiency
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities
Analyze test results, track defects, and provide recommendations for improvements in the testing process
Stay updated on the latest testing tools and test automation trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in testing practices
Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
Lead
6-8 years’ experience in software testing
Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
Must have hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium and browser-based web application testing
Must have experience in automation code development, debugging, and execution using any IDE like Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.
Must have good knowledge of Java
Nice to have exposure to the Spring framework
Nice to have knowledge of headless development and database systems
Nice to have knowledge in API testing using Postman, Soap-UI, or Ready API
Must have knowledge in Jenkins job management
Must have an understanding of data flow between multiple applications
Good communication skills
Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools; ability to monitor and maintain problem logs, and report issues; proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
Proficiency in testing tools and test automation (EMB), Selenium, Java
Strong experience in developing and executing test scripts using Selenium and Java
Hands-on experience with EMB (Electronic Measurement Bulletin) for testing purposes
Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a testing team
Ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders to achieve testing goals
Nice to have knowledge in SAP and Hybris systems
Relevant certifications in Testing Tools and Test Automation (EMB), Selenium, Java are a plus
