Our client seeks a Power Platform Administrator to manage administration, governance, support, and ongoing improvement of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365. The role will ensure stability, security, compliance, and adoption while advising users and enabling scalable solutions across the organization.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Power Platform environments for development, testing, and production.
  • Configure and manage environments, Dataverse, security roles, data policies, capacity, and settings.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, usage, licensing, and capacity utilization.
  • Manage lifecycle activities including provisioning, configuration, backup, recovery, and upgrades.
  • Implement and maintain governance standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention policies and security controls.
  • Support tenant-wide administration and compliance requirements.
  • Develop operational procedures and maintain platform documentation.
  • Administer and support solution deployment processes across environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot ALM pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Support source control, release management, and environment promotion.
  • Assist with troubleshooting deployment, dependency, and configuration issues.
  • Ensure adherence to standards for solution packaging and releases.
  • Manage security roles, permissions, sharing models, and access control.
  • Review and enforce governance for applications, flows, custom connectors, and integrations.
  • Conduct platform audits and ensure compliance with security and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Serve as escalation point for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 support issues.
  • Troubleshoot application, flow, environment, integration, and security problems.
  • Provide guidance to business users and citizen developers.
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles, training materials, and documentation.
  • Facilitate adoption through training, office hours, and community engagement.
  • Assist with solution design reviews and promote best practices.
  • Mentor and support citizen developers building apps, flows, and Dataverse solutions.
  • Review apps and automations for maintainability, security, and compliance.
  • Provide guidance on architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Promote reusable patterns, components, and governance standards.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Dynamics 365 applications and components.
  • Troubleshoot Dynamics 365 functionality, integrations, security, and performance.
  • Support configuration changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve functional and technical challenges.

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years administering Microsoft Power Platform environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform governance and security.
  • Experience configuring and supporting ALM processes and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience administering and supporting Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of environment management, security roles, permissions, and access control.
  • Experience with platform monitoring, reporting, and operational support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: Experience with Power Platform CoE Starter Kit.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure services, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Preferred: Experience with PowerShell and administration scripting.
  • Preferred: Experience with solution architecture and enterprise governance.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of API integrations, custom connectors, and enterprise data sources.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 certifications.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
