Summary
Job Description:
- zCEE Installation & Upgrade (Primary Focus)
- Install and configure IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) on z/OS
- Upgrade existing zCEE environments to support OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3)
- Perform system setup, configuration, and environment validation
- Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure performance optimization
- Apply best practices for security, scalability, and high availability
- Environment & Integration Support
- Configure connectivity with backend systems (e.g., CICS, IMS, DB2)
- Support deployment and validation of APIs within zCEE
- Ensure compatibility with existing OAS2 services during transition
- Limited API & Training Support
- Provide guidance on recreating OAS2 APIs into OAS3 (manual approach)
- Support developers with:
- Swagger/OpenAPI authoring basics
- API deployment in zCEE
- Deliver basic admin/end-user knowledge transfer
