As a Senior Solution Architect, you will design comprehensive data and analytics solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies including Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWS. You will create reusable data management patterns and provide technical leadership to the data engineering team while collaborating across functional teams to deliver business value.



Responsibilities:Design and implement data mesh and data lake solutions, focusing on data ingestion, validation, and orchestration utilizing Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, and Immuta within AWS environmentsCreate reusable data management and integration patterns and review them during architectural review boardsProvide technical leadership and expertise to the data engineering team on best practices for implementing solutions with our core technology stackCollaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to design scalable data and analytics solutions that deliver measurable business valueEstablish and enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and data management best practicesOptimize data pipelines, queries, and infrastructure configuration to improve overall system performanceIdentify and mitigate risks associated with data engineering, ensuring data security, contingency, and complianceLead and coordinate domain technical and business discussions on future architecture direction



Additional Responsibilities:Identify organizational requirements for resources, structures, and cultural changes to support change management initiativesLead multiple architectural engagements across the organizationParticipate in IT strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, and business innovationDevelop business cases for approval of new architectural initiativesDevelop and communicate domain-wide policies, standards, guidelines, and proceduresLead and facilitate architecture governance processesConduct research and evaluation activities for emerging technology solutions.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience with all aspects of projects from design through development, testing, implementation, and productionAdvanced knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools, specifically Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWSSubject matter expertise across multiple solution patternsStrong understanding of business processes Demonstrated experience building and leading successful teamsAdvanced skills in business enterprise knowledge and consultingAdvanced knowledge of emerging technologiesExpanded capabilities in strategic thinkingProgram KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)Advanced: Problem Solving, Communication for ResultsExpanded: System Thinking, Change Advocate, Flexibility, Initiative, ThoroughnessFundamental: Building Relationships
