Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Configure and customize PTC Windchill environments, including workflows, change management, process plans, and bill of materials functionality.
- Develop and maintain PLM integrations connecting Windchill with enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution, and product data systems.
- Support Windchill upgrades, module deployments, CAD data migration, and implementation activities across multiple environments.
- Troubleshoot integration and application issues, maintain deployment documentation and scripts, and support system administration and production operations.
Minimum Qualifications

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
6–9 years of experience in PLM development, PTC Windchill configuration and customization, enterprise system integration, and product data migration.

|
Technical Skills
|
PTC Windchill, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, XML, Product Lifecycle Management, System Integration, Data Migration, SAP S/4HANA, CAD Data Management

|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments across product design, engineering, manufacturing planning, change management, and product data administration.
- Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
- Experience managing product data and engineering change processes, including CAD data migration, bills of materials, manufacturing process plans, engineering workflows, and product configuration across development and production environments.
- Experience integrating PLM platforms with ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and enterprise part libraries to support product development, manufacturing operations, data consistency, and cross-system business processes.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multiple PLM platforms, multi-PLM environments, and multi-CAD product engineering ecosystems.
- Experience delivering end-to-end PLM implementations, platform upgrades, and enterprise application integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
