Job Description: Oracle GOP Cloud Implementation Lead (EBS Source Orders)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Global Order Promising (GOP) Cloud Implementation Lead to design and deliver a hybrid order promising solution with Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Order Management as the source for customer orders and Oracle Fusion GOP as the central promising engine. This role will lead functional design, cross‑system integration, and business alignment across Order Management, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Ownership – GOP & Order Promising
Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Oracle Fusion Global Order Promising (GOP) in a hybrid landscape with Oracle EBS.
Define and configure available‑to‑promise (ATP), capable‑to‑promise (CTP), and sourcing rules in Oracle Cloud GOP.
Translate business requirements into GOP configurations covering:
Supply types (on‑hand, in‑transit, purchase, manufacturing)
Allocation rules and promising horizons
Order priorities, customer segmentation, and service levels
Drive promising logic design to support make‑to‑order, make‑to‑stock, drop‑ship, and hybrid fulfillment models.
Integration & Hybrid Architecture (EBS → Cloud)
Design and oversee integration between Oracle EBS Order Management and Oracle Cloud GOP, including:
Order demand publishing from EBS to GOP
Promising responses returned to EBS (requested date, promise date, ship date)
Partner with technical teams on:
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP services, or batch integrations
Data synchronization for items, BOMs, ATP rules, organizations, and calendars
Ensure alignment between EBS sourcing rules and Fusion GOP sourcing logic.
Supply Chain & Data Alignment
Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Inventory teams to ensure:
Accurate supply visibility feeding GOP (POs, WOs, transfers)
Correct calendar, lead time, and capacity modeling
Support integration with Oracle Cloud modules such as:
Supply Chain Planning (ASCP/Cloud Planning)
Inventory Management
Manufacturing / Maintenance (where applicable)
Testing, Cutover & Stabilization
Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing focused on promising accuracy and performance.
Validate promising outputs against business scenarios and edge cases.
Support cutover strategy, hypercare, and post‑go‑live optimization.
Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership
Act as the primary GOP subject‑matter expert (SME) for business and IT stakeholders.
Facilitate design workshops with Sales Ops, Supply Chain, and IT.
Mentor junior functional resources and provide design governance.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Experience
8+ years of Oracle Supply Chain experience, with strong depth in Order Promising / ATP / CTP.
Hands‑on implementation experience with:
Oracle Fusion Global Order Promising, and
Oracle E‑Business Suite Order Management.
Proven experience delivering hybrid EBS + Oracle Cloud solutions.
Strong knowledge of:
Order Management, Inventory, BOM, WIP, and Purchasing
Supply/demand orchestration and fulfillment workflows
Ability to map legacy EBS constructs to Fusion Cloud equivalents.
Technical & Integration Awareness
Solid understanding (functional design level) of:
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
REST/SOAP web services
Data migration and master data governance
Ability to effectively collaborate with technical integration and data teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning.
Prior involvement in EBS to Fusion coexistence or phased migration programs.
Consulting or SI background managing complex multi‑track programs.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
