Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to support quality planning, process improvement, and quality assurance activities across product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution operations. This role is responsible for applying quality engineering principles, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement practices to ensure products and processes consistently meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and organizational quality standards.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements, support product and process development initiatives, work with suppliers, and implement quality tools throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, product development, or process improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of quality systems, quality assurance principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience analyzing manufacturing processes and implementing quality improvements.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root-cause investigation skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and technical documentation.
Experience working in cross-functional environments with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and supplier teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, 8D, CAPA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience supporting supplier quality management and supplier development activities.
Knowledge of product development and manufacturing quality processes.
Familiarity with quality audits, inspection procedures, and compliance requirements.
Experience with project management and change management initiatives.
Professional quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, or similar credentials.
