Job Title: QA Automation Analyst
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Interview Mode: In-Person/ Through Microsoft Teams
Position Overview
Investigate and diagnose quality complaints, track components, verify logs/databases, and recommend corrective actions. Responsible for developing/maintaining test scripts for manual/automated testing, preparing UAT test cases aligned with business requirements, conducting stakeholder walkthroughs, tracking execution/reporting, using Jira for defect tracking, maintaining requirements traceability matrices, and working in Agile environments. Support development teams across dev/test/UAT environments and troubleshoot defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Write/execute test cases, create test plans, develop detailed UAT test plans based on business requirements
- Align test cases with business requirements, conduct stakeholder walkthroughs, coordinate UAT schedules
- Use Jira for defect logging/tracking, Xray for test case management, participate in test readiness/go-no-go decisions
- Conduct API testing (Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter), SQL CRUD operations, various testing types (unit/integration/regression/smoke/UAT/system/stress/performance)
- Develop/execute QA automation using UFT, review performance testing scripts/results
- Work in Agile/Scrum environment, CI/CD pipelines, support sprint delivery with quality focus
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (8+ Years Experience)
- Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans.
- Knowledge of software usability concepts, requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
- Knowledge of Xray Test Case management tool.
- Knowledge of SQL query writing to perform CRUD operations.
- Proficient in using CI/CD pipelines to enhance software development testing processes.
- Experience in conducting API Testing using Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter or similar.
- Experience in writing and executing tests automation using UFT.
