Android Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an Android Engineer to develop high-quality, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications. This role focuses on building robust Android solutions using modern development practices and frameworks. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming activities Contribute to defining mobile engineering standards, best practices, and tooling Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability Implement modern architectural patterns such as MVP or MVVM Support CI/CD practices and test-driven development Build accessible and user-friendly mobile experiences Stay current with emerging mobile technologies, trends, and frameworks Mentor and support other developers within the team Required Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience developing Android applications using Kotlin Experience building and maintaining publicly available Android apps Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVP or MVVM Knowledge of Android Jetpack and commonly used libraries such as Retrofit Experience with version control systems and collaborative development practices Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and design principles Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern development methodologies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience building multi-module Android applications Familiarity with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose Experience mentoring or coaching developers Understanding of accessibility standards and building accessible mobile applications Education: Bachelors Degree
