Detailed Job Description:
AI Test Engineer (Playwright/Selenium) – 8+ Years Experience
Experience Requirements
⦁ Total Experience: 8+ Years
⦁ Automation Testing Experience: 5+ Years
⦁ AI/Generative AI Experience: 3+ Years
Key Responsibilities & Skills
⦁ 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
⦁ Strong experience in Generative AI-powered Testing and AI-assisted quality engineering practices.
⦁ Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
⦁ Strong understanding of Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Evaluation, and AI Quality Assurance.
⦁ Experience designing and implementing AI-driven test generation, validation, and optimization solutions.
⦁ Strong expertise in Playwright and/or Selenium test automation frameworks.
⦁ Hands-on experience in API test automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
⦁ Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
⦁ Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
⦁ Strong hands-on experience in mobile test automation using Appium for Android and iOS platforms.
⦁ Experience designing and maintaining scalable Appium automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
⦁ Proficient in automating native, hybrid, and mobile web applications,
⦁ Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
⦁ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
⦁ Mentor junior team members and drive adoption of automation best practices, AI-led testing approaches, and innovation initiatives.
⦁ Collaborate effectively with offshore teams based in India and work across distributed global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
⦁ Experience implementing AI-enabled test strategies for enterprise applications.
⦁ Mobile automation experience - Appium
⦁ Knowledge of test automation frameworks, quality engineering best practices, and modern software delivery methodologies.
⦁ Ability to identify opportunities for leveraging AI to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and productivity.
