Summary
- Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices
- Build and maintain secure, high-availability systems
- Contribute to systems that support authentication, authorization, and access control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and implementation
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years overall and 6+ years of backend development experience
- ABSOLUTE MUST: 100% Strong proficiency in Python and Golang (GO)
- 2–3+ years of experience building and maintaining microservices architectures
- Solid experience with databases and SQL (at least one major database system)
- 3+ years working with databases in production environments
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (2+ years)
- Strong understanding of multithreading and multiprocessing concepts
- Proven experience building scalable and distributed systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Spark or Hive
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
- Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
- Experience with cloud IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud Platform IAM)
- Knowledge of security best practices or common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
- Experience with message queues (Kafka) and distributed systems
