This is a functional consultant, not technical or techno-functional.
Internal notes:
Must be able to understand data flow and how the modules work. For an example if finance team will say 'hey I want to see the breakdown of cost for fuel, labor, etc.' then this person needs to understand how the modules should be configured to meet the requirement, and then give the requirement to IT to configure the way accounting wants.
Job Description:
- Strong functional experience with Oracle EPM Cloud
- Hands-on expertise in the following modules:
- FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close)
- EPBCS (Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service)
- TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service)
- PCMCS (Profitability & Cost Management)
- EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service)
- PCF (Planning / Financial modules within EPM)
- Experience supporting production environments in a Managed Services or post-implementation setting
- Strong understanding of financial planning, consolidation, reporting, or tax processes
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional EPM solutions
- Comfortable working onsite 3 days per week (Tues Thurs) in the Dallas area
Plusses
- Prior experience in Managed Services or AMS-style support models
- Experience working in or supporting clients in the transportation or logistics industry
- Exposure to integrations, data flows, or working alongside EPM technical developers
- Previous Big 4 or large SI consulting experience
- Oracle EPM certifications
Day to Day
- Provide functional support and enhancements across Oracle EPM modules
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and planning cycles as needed
- Collaborate with technical EPM resources on configurations, data management, and issue resolution
- Participate in ongoing optimization, enhancements, and process improvements within the EPM environment
- Operate within a Managed Services framework, balancing responsiveness with long-term system stability.
