Full Stack / Java Application Developer

Overview

Join a team focused on building modern, reusable enterprise applications that help development teams deliver higher-quality software faster. In this role, you will contribute to a reference application that demonstrates best practices in software development, shift-left testing, and reusable component architecture. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies to design, develop, and enhance cloud-enabled applications used by internal engineering teams.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS technologies.
  • Build scalable, reusable services and components that support enterprise software development initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance RESTful APIs, business services, and user-facing web applications.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in application design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
  • Support shift-left testing initiatives by incorporating automated testing and quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create technical documentation and contribute to application design discussions.
  • Troubleshoot production and non-production issues through research, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Help modernize and improve existing applications using cloud-native and microservices-based approaches.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Hibernate, JPA, or other ORM frameworks.
  • Experience integrating applications through messaging technologies such as JMS.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing applications in AWS cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native development practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
  • Understanding of secure coding standards and application security best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
