Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate pallet trucks, fork trucks, and overhead cranes
- Prepare outgoing shipments via truck, air, rail, and ocean freight
- Perform data entry for shipping records, tracking numbers, freight details, and inventory movement
- Enter and maintain accurate information in logs, spreadsheets, and internal systems
- Inspect incoming materials for defects, damage, or shortages and document findings
- Organize equipment tagging, shipping labels, special markings, and shipping photographs
- Complete quality checklists and digital documentation for shipments
- Coordinate assembly skids with the production schedule
- Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel to update and track shipment information
- Work in both office and warehouse environments
- Bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of shipping experience
- Strong background in data entry, recordkeeping, and accurate documentation
- Proficiency with pallet trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Experience preparing shipments via truck, air, rail, or ocean
- Ability to manage shipping workflows and maintain accurate digital records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Preferred: SAP experience, inventory control, load planning, and quoting
