About the Role

The Internal Systems & Automation Technology team is looking for a Software Engineer II to drive our employee experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the employee experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

Manage the program's library of documentation on tools and functions for various tools and integrations, and maintain the document solutions, design decisions, and support processes
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional app designs
Design, build, and support applications using Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven apps)
Integrate apps with data sources such as Data verse, SharePoint, Excel, SQL, and APIs, implement workflows and automation using Power Automate where needed
Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing solutions
Ensure applications follow organizational standards for security, governance, and performance
Participate in code reviews and solution reviews with platform or architecture teams

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

Proven skills programming with JavaScript, HTML, Azure services
Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, Python)
Familiarity working with SQL Databases
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical problems succinctly and clearly
Capable problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn
Experience in Microsoft Power Apps and Understanding of Power Platform concepts and components

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
