Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Test Lead to lead the quality assurance and test automation efforts for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing automation frameworks, leading QA teams, developing automated test scripts, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and automation testers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Define test strategies, test plans, and quality standards for projects.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track testing progress, quality metrics, and provide regular status reports.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Testing with 3+ years in a QA Lead role.
  • Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, or TestComplete.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database testing.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
