Senior BTP Integration Consultant (Public Cloud Specialist)

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this senior role, you will act as a hands-on subject matter expert and technical lead for enterprise integration initiatives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of integration solutions using the full capabilities of the SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Solution Design & Architecture: Design, architect, and deploy cloud-native extensions and seamless integrations between SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and external systems (both SAP and non-SAP) using the full capabilities of the SAP BTP Integration Suite .
Technical Delivery: Develop and deploy complex iFlows, APIs, and event-driven integrations using best practices for reusability, performance, and security .
Platform Expertise: Enable secure data exchange using various adapters (HTTPS, SFTP, IDoc, OData) and connectivity tools like Cloud Connector and BTP Destinations .
Clean Core & Modernization: Ensure integration solutions align with the Clean Core methodology and lead modernization initiatives, including the migration from SAP PI/PO or other middleware platforms to SAP BTP Integration Suite .
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with client and internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical integration scenarios across SAP S/4HANA, SAP SaaS solutions (Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, etc.), and non-SAP systems .
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge transfer and technical excellence .
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
Experience: 10+ years of overall SAP integration experience, with a strong focus on SAP BTP Integration Suite in recent projects.
SAP BTP Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise in the core components of the Integration Suite: SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP API Management, SAP Event Mesh, and SAP Open Connectors.
S/4HANA Public Cloud: Proven experience integrating SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud via standard communication arrangements, scenarios, and custom CDS views .
Technical Stack: Expert knowledge of iFlow development, API design (OData/REST/SOAP), XSLT mappings, Groovy scripting, and security protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT).
Connectivity & Administration: Proficiency in setting up and configuring SAP BTP Cockpit, Subaccounts, Cloud Connector, and Destinations.
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience
Migration Experience: Experience in migrating integration landscapes from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite .
Broader BTP Services: Exposure to other SAP BTP services such as Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), Business Rules, Workflow Management, and ABAP Cloud .
Non-SAP Integration: Experience integrating with non-SAP cloud applications (e.g., Salesforce, Workday) .
DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in an SAP context (Git, GitHub Actions, SAP Cloud Transport Management) .
Certification: SAP or IBM certifications in SAP BTP Integration Suite .
