Job Overview: We are seeking a Technical Writer to spearhead documentation strategy and execution for an innovative AI-driven effort mitigation initiative. This role emphasizes technical writing while leveraging emerging AI tools and processes to modernize documentation practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical documentation, proficiency with AI-assisted writing tools, and the ability to lead documentation efforts for complex application ecosystems.
Responsibilities: - Lead the creation, organization, and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation.
- Document application architecture, system dependencies, and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to enhance documentation efficiency.
- Contribute to and help evolve an internal documentation platform (pre-production).
- Support an enterprise initiative focused on effort mitigation through improved documentation.
- Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Work within Confluence and Jira for documentation tracking and collaboration.
Qualifications: - Lead-level experience in technical writing or documentation.
- Strong background in technical documentation.
- Experience working with AI tools (minimum ~1 year), including prompt-based workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Confluence and Jira.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience with the client (strongly preferred).
- Experience contributing to or working with internal documentation tools/platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-driven transformation or automation initiatives.
- Experience leading or mentoring other technical writers.
Current Project Context: - Initiative: AI-driven effort mitigation through documentation.
- Documentation is being developed using an internal tool (not yet in production).
- Long-term vision: Enable scalable documentation processes that may reduce reliance on traditional technical writing roles.

Pay Range: $45 - $50
