Mainframe Developer

Our direct Fortune 100 client is looking for a Mainframe Developer with strong experience analyzing and documenting batch job dependencies using Mainframe panels. The role focuses on understanding complex job flows, mapping upstream/downstream impacts and providing clear technical documentation. Required skills include COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. This is a 6 month contract. fully remote, and follows an EST work schedule. All candidates must live and work in the 48 contiguous states. Our client is an industry leader with a large IT shop and great work culture.

Essential Skills:




- Experience developing mainframe solutions using COBOL, JCL, CICS and DB2

- Experience researching mainframe systems and documenting dependencies

- Experience refactoring legacy code and simplifying batch processing

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong research and documentation skills
