Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in containerization, Kubernetes platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployment automation, monitoring, and cluster management. Experience with OpenShift, Rancher, Terraform, Argo CD, and Kubernetes deployment strategies is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
  • Deploy and orchestrate applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Argo CD.
  • Manage Kubernetes package deployments using Helm.
  • Configure and administer Kubernetes clusters using RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine) and Rancher.
  • Implement deployment strategies including Blue-Green Deployments and Canary Releases.
  • Support application deployments, rollouts, and release management activities.
  • Monitor platform health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Utilize Jira for Agile project tracking, issue management, and sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain platform architecture documentation.
  • Develop detailed OpenShift platform design documents and supporting service architectures.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and operational excellence across environments.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of DevOps Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
  • Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Working knowledge of RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine).
  • Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Argo CD.
  • Experience using Jira for Agile project tracking and sprint planning.
  • Knowledge of deployment and rollout strategies including:
  • Blue-Green Deployments
  • Canary Deployments
  • Strong understanding of application deployment and release management processes.
  • Experience designing and documenting OpenShift platform architectures.
