SQL/ Oracle DBA--Primary L3 database and application architect

Introduction:

This position is for a SQL/ Oracle DBA who will serve as the primary Level 3 (L3) database and application architect within the team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing database administration tasks, application infrastructure, and ensuring the security and integrity of the databases.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain database backup procedures and disaster recovery plans
• Configure, generate, and review database audits for HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Automate SQL Server patching using WSUS
• Review and remediate database-related Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) for HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Manage SQL Server AlwaysOn Cluster
• Oversee JDA (BY) Supply Chain application infrastructure
• Maintain SQL Server media access and repository
• Perform Azure Portal DBA tasks including access, backup, restore, monitoring, and auditing
• Manage Cyberark/ARS security and access
• Ensure SQL Server security compliance
• Maintain Oracle Metalink access and media repository

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Experience with database backup design and implementation
• Proficiency in database administration for SQL Server, Oracle, and HANA
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure Portal DBA tasks
• Familiarity with SQL Server patching automation using WSUS
• Ability to review and remediate database-related CVEs

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with JDA (BY) Supply Chain application infrastructure
• Knowledge of Cyberark/ARS security and access
• Understanding of Oracle Metalink access and maintenance
• Experience with SAP Funds Management, Grants Management, and Public Sector Financial Management
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO Integration and SAP PSCD Integration
