CMA is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair pre-owned vehicles before they are placed on the dealership lot. This role is ideal for an automotive technician with dealership experience who enjoys a variety of mechanical repairs and takes pride in delivering retail-ready vehicles. The position was requested as an immediate hire within Fixed Operations and focuses on used vehicle inspections and reconditioning.

Requirements:
What You\'ll Do

  • Inspect and evaluate trade-in and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and maintenance-related concerns.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance needed to prepare vehicles for retail sale.
  • Work closely with Service and Sales teams to identify quality inventory opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and inspection records.
  • Ensure vehicles meet dealership quality and safety standards before delivery.

What We\'re Looking For

  • 5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Automotive dealership experience preferred.
  • Trade school training in Automotive Technology preferred.
  • ASE Certifications are a plus.
  • Virginia State Inspection License is a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
