THE ROLE:

We are hiring an engineering leader. The role is for a Sr. Manager in the Software Engineering GPU performance team, to be responsible for managing a team of developers in optimizing and testing gaming workloads on a range of GPU ASICs.

THE PERSON

As the Senior Manager, Software Engineering - GPU Performance team, you will be responsible for managing a team of developers focused on developing functionality and performance optimizations of the GPU driver software stack on a range of GPU ASICs. As the successful candidate, you will have an established background in managing supervising, or leading a large software engineering team, preferably working on compilers, 3D graphics, and/or device drivers in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage an engineering team including mentoring, goal setting and conducting annual performance reviews
  • Work closely with your team to develop performance enhancements for GPU driver stack, tracking and fixing bugs, and testing drivers to be aligned with key deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers
  • Understand and present technical status updates to upper managers, peers, and engineer teams
  • Have technical insight to guide priorities and translate the asks into right actions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize deliverables

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Multiple years' experience as a software developer, preferred experience in driver development, 3D, and GPUs
  • Undergraduate degree in a software or technical discipline
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of project delivery in a large cross-functional organization
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline
