Job Title: System Integration Engineer Level II (Salesforce)

Duration: 12 Months
Location: Hybrid (50% Onsite / 50% Remote Albany, NY or NYC area office)

Role Overview

The System Integration Engineer Level II is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and reusable Salesforce-based solutions that support complex, multi-agency business needs. This role translates business strategies and capability requirements into end-to-end Salesforce architecture while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance guardrails, and best practices.

The engineer provides technical leadership across solution teams delivering case management, citizen engagement, and AI-driven analytics solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define comprehensive solution architecture, including business processes, integrations, data models, security, and system components

• Design and architect multi-cloud Salesforce solutions aligned with organizational strategies and platform standards

• Leverage Salesforce capabilities such as:

  • Service Cloud

  • Experience Cloud

  • OmniStudio

  • Data Cloud

  • MuleSoft

  • Agentforce

  • Tableau

• Define system boundaries, architectural guardrails, data models, integration strategies, and environment configurations

• Extend public sector Salesforce solutions and data models to support agency-specific requirements

• Design reusable, multi-agency solution patterns (e.g., shared intake processes, portals, omni-channel engagement)

• Ensure agency use cases (e.g., licensing, investigations, case management) align with standardized Salesforce accelerators rather than custom silos

• Architect data flows and enable cross-agency analytics and reporting

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle

Mandatory Qualifications

• Level II Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working on complex technology projects

  • Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role as a System Integration Engineer

  • 7+ years of Salesforce architecture and solution design experience

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and CRM

Desirable Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience integrating Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft

• 2+ years of experience designing large-scale, multi-org or multi-tenant Salesforce solutions

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect

• 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Shield, encryption, and platform security

• 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid work model

• Consultants must work 50% onsite from either:

  • Albany, NY office

  • NYC-area office

• Remaining time may be worked remotely
