Role Summary

Architect 3PL test automation frameworks validating complex OTT streaming ecosystems. Analyze business requirements across Web, Mobile, and connected TV platforms collaborating with stakeholders to deliver comprehensive test plans, automation strategies, and ad tech integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Test Planning

Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for enterprise applications across Web, Mobile, and OTT streaming platforms.
Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, UI/UX, API, performance, and regression testing.
Collaborate with stakeholders (product owners, developers, ad ops) defining acceptance criteria and test scope.

Feature & Functional Testing

OTT Platform Coverage:
Roku (BrightScript, SceneGraph testing)
Tizen (Tizen Web App testing)
AndroidTV (Leanback, D-pad navigation)
AppleTV (tvOS, Siri Remote testing)
Web (Chromecast, AirPlay)
Mobile (iOS/Android casting)

Automation Framework Architecture

Design and maintain smoke and regression automation suites using Appium for cross-platform testing.
Integrate ad tech validation (Google AdManager, FreeWheel, SSAI) ensuring monetization reliability.
Implement UI/UX automation validating player controls, content navigation, and streaming quality.

Defect Management & Reporting

Execute defect triage and root cause analysis collaborating with development for rapid resolution.
Generate test reports and metrics (pass/fail rates, coverage, execution trends) for stakeholder communication.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) driving continuous improvement.
