The Opportunity

Drive the future of automotive propulsion technology as a vital technical linchpin. In this high-impact role, you will champion the application-level engineering, rigorous validation, and lifecycle performance of advanced fuel delivery systems. Serving as the primary technical bridge connecting engineering, laboratory testing, assembly operations, and global supply networks, you will directly influence product integrity and deployment success.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking engineer to own critical problem-solving initiatives, spearhead continuous improvement projects, and deliver elite technical solutions that keep cutting-edge vehicles moving forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and optimize innovative remanufacturing frameworks for specialized high-pressure hydraulic diesel injection units and advanced common rail delivery systems.

  • Champion comprehensive application engineering initiatives for designated port fuel injection systems and strategic client program portfolios.

  • Investigate complex product performance anomalies, managing everything from internal testing deviations and specialized flow audits to real-world field performance events.

  • Lead cross-functional root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action workflows to swiftly eliminate technical issues and implement preventive measures.

  • Synthesize clear, professional technical documentation, including comprehensive failure investigation findings, product audit summaries, and rigorous engineering updates.

  • Steer collaborative engineering stand-ups, gemba walks, and strategic program reviews to deliver transparent status updates to all operational stakeholders.

  • Maximize production throughput and product quality by supplying crucial technical expertise to plant manufacturing and supply chain personnel.

  • Interface directly with internal evaluation laboratories, quality assurance specialists, and strategic tier-one components vendors to rapidly resolve complex hardware challenges.

  • Drive continuous improvement paradigms that maximize the resilience, durability, and on-road performance of core fuel delivery technologies.

What You Bring

  • Education: University Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.

  • Experience: 5 to 20 years of proven success within application engineering, product validation, or advanced product support environments.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on expertise spanning the design, validation testing, and manufacturing methodologies of diesel common rail fuel injection infrastructure.

  • Design & Analysis Tools: Proficient command of 3D SolidWorks for modeling internal fuel system components, paired with absolute clarity in generating technical drawings utilizing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated capabilities executing root cause analyses on complex mechanical or fluid systems, driving issues from initial discovery through to formal corrective action implementation.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Elite written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of translating complex technical concepts seamlessly to cross-functional teams, suppliers, and operational leadership.

  • Execution Mentality: A strong sense of project ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a structured approach to managing validation setups, sequence planning, and concurrent deadlines.

Compensation & Total Rewards

Core Compensation

  • Competitive Base Salary: $95,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with specialized technical experience and skill level.

Performance & Equity Incentives

  • Performance Bonus: Target annual performance incentive of up to 7% of base salary, tied to operational excellence and program achievements.

Health & Wellness Perks

  • Comprehensive Coverage: Premium medical, dental, and vision insurance packages designed to protect you and your dependents.

  • Mental Health Support: Access to dedicated wellness resources, counseling services, and employee assistance programs.

Future Planning

  • Retirement Security: 401(k) retirement savings blueprint featuring a competitive company matching structure.

  • Financial Protection: Fully funded life insurance policies, short-term/long-term disability protection, and professional continuous education assistance.

Work-Life Balance

  • Paid Time Off: Generous annual allotment of paid vacation days, personal days, and paid corporate holidays.

  • Family Support: Structured paid parental leave options to support your growing household.

  • Operational Setting: Highly collaborative, standard business hours environment centered within an advanced, facility-integrated engineering suite (Relocation assistance available for nationwide talent).
