Location :: 100% Remote

Job Description:

Title: Lead Architect/Network Manager

Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire - will be up to 16 hours a week until the summer once the deal is won then would go to 40 hours a week.

Job Description:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
Current senior-level network engineering certification such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent advanced certification.
At least ten (10) years of experience designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures.
Demonstrated experience with large backbone networks and fiber infrastructure.
Proven experience in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network architectures, including Cisco routing/switching and enterprise firewall environments.
Serve as the primary technical authority for enterprise network architecture and engineering decisions.
Own the performance, resiliency, and security posture of the Client’s network infrastructure.
Approve network architectures, high-impact design changes, and complex engineering solutions.
Act as the senior technical escalation point for Priority 1 and Major Incident events.
Architect and govern Cisco-based routing and switching environments across core, distribution, and access layers.
Provide architectural leadership for large-scale enterprise and backbone networks using Cisco platforms.
Ensure designs meet requirements for high availability, scalability, performance, and operational maintainability.
