Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Consultant to develop, enhance, maintain, and support an enterprise workflow and document management platform, InfoMAP. The role requires strong hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM FileNet, Java/J2EE, Kofax Capture, and enterprise application integrations.
The consultant will work with existing enterprise and legacy applications, troubleshoot complex issues, develop enhancements, support modernization initiatives, and ensure reliable and secure application performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
* Support and enhance the InfoMAP case management and content management platform.
* Develop and maintain IBM FileNet applications, repositories, metadata, document retrieval, and content lifecycle processes.
* Develop integrations between IBM BAW, FileNet, Java applications, Kofax, and other enterprise systems.
* Support IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator, including customizations and workflow integrations.
* Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications, APIs, and backend components.
* Support Kofax Capture for scanning, OCR, indexing, validation, batch processing, and document integration.
* Troubleshoot application defects, workflow failures, document processing issues, integration problems, and performance issues.
* Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs with XML and JSON integrations.
* Perform application testing, debugging, code reviews, deployment validation, and production support.
* Analyze existing applications and recommend performance improvements and modernization solutions.
* Collaborate with business, development, Data Management, and infrastructure teams.
* Maintain technical documentation, architecture documents, workflow configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Support TFS-to-Azure DevOps migration and Git-based source control.
* Use Azure DevOps for work tracking, CI/CD, source control, and deployments.
* Provide technical knowledge transfer and ongoing application maintenance.
Required Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of enterprise application development, maintenance, and integration experience.
* 5+ years of experience with IBM workflow and content management technologies.
* Strong hands-on experience with IBM BAW development, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
* Strong experience with IBM FileNet, Content Engine APIs, repositories, metadata, document management, security, and integrations.
* Strong Java/J2EE development and troubleshooting experience.
* Hands-on experience with Kofax Capture, including scanning, OCR, indexing, validation, and batch processing.
* Experience integrating BAW, FileNet, Kofax, and enterprise applications.
* Experience with IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator.
* Experience with IBM Content Navigator customization, plug-ins, and UI configuration.
* Strong experience with REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, and JSON.
* Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
* Experience with TFS, Git, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
Highly Desired
* IBM BPM/BAW, FileNet, or Case Manager modernization experience.
* FileNet integrations using Java APIs.
* Tungsten Total Agility / Kofax Capture experience.
* IBM BAW or FileNet certification.
* Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
* Experience in government, utilities, or highly regulated environments.
