React Development: Build and maintain scalable, high-volume web applications using React.js.
Pixel-Perfect Implementation: Translate Figma designs into responsive, interactive, and high-fidelity web interfaces.
State Management: Implement efficient data flow and state management using Redux, Context API, or React Query.
Performance Tuning: Optimize React components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Standardization: Contribute to and consume our internal Design System, ensuring UI consistency across the entire Walmart ecosystem.
Collaboration: Partner with Backend Engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services seamlessly into the UI.
What We're Looking For
Technical Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience focusing on React.js and its core principles.
Modern Tooling: Proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS approaches (CSS Modules, Tailwind, or Styled Components).
Testing: Experience writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
Responsive Design: A deep understanding of mobile-first development and browser compatibility quirks.
Design Sensibility: While you are a developer, you have a strong eye for UI/UX and care deeply about the "feel" of an interaction.
Agile Mindset: Comfort working in a CI/CD environment with frequent deployments and code reviews.
