Job Title: Epic Payer Director / Managing Director

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Travel: 10–25% based on client needs

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation:

• Director: $175K–$225K base + 15% bonus

• Managing Director: $215K–$275K base + 18% bonus

• Equity potential for senior-level hire 

Epic Payer Director / Managing Director (Remote)

A growing healthcare consulting firm is expanding its Epic Payer practice and hiring a senior leader to oversee complex payer-platform engagements.

This role provides executive oversight across Epic Payer Platform implementations and health plan transformations, guiding strategy, delivery governance, and client relationships .
 

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale Epic Payer Platform and Tapestry engagements

• Oversee claims, enrollment, utilization management, and care management transformations 

• Provide portfolio governance, risk management, and quality oversight

• Manage P&L, project scoping, and proposals

• Mentor consulting teams and serve as executive escalation point
 

Required Qualifications

• Deep Epic Payer Platform expertise

• Epic certifications in Payer Platform, Tapestry, Healthy Planet / Compass Rose, Premium Billing, or CRM 

• Strong health plan operations knowledge (claims, UM, care management, enrollment) 

• Executive consulting leadership across multi-million-dollar engagements

• Portfolio governance and P&L ownership experience
