IT Manager

Location & Work Arrangement

• City, State: Atlanta, GA
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Local candidates only; 1 2 days onsite weekly required).
• Interview Mode: Web Cam Interview Only.
• Shift: Monday Friday, EST.

Key Responsibilities

Governance, Compliance & Policy

• Develop, review, and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and data privacy laws.
• Serve as a primary contact for reviewing technology proposals and ensuring they meet Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Escalate and document suspected policy violations following established agency procedures.
• Prepare detailed funding justifications, risk assessments, and policy compliance documentation for project intake packages.

Project Intake & Review

• Assess incoming project submissions for technical feasibility, strategic alignment, and clarity of scope.
• Collaborate with engineers and cybersecurity teams to validate solution integrity and compatibility with existing systems.
• Prepare and present project materials to internal governance boards for formal approval or prioritization.

Stakeholder Facilitation & Training

• Act as the liaison between multiple departments to identify innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to refine project requirements and outline IT involvement.
• Develop guidelines, templates, and training materials to assist business users in submitting high-quality project requests.

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Public Sector Experience: Prior work within regulated industries or government agencies.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with standards such as NIST, NDAA, or HITRUST.
• Contract Negotiation: Experience negotiating IT contracts or vendor agreements.
• Project Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage shifting priorities.
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
