Description

Responsibilities
  • The Procurement Analyst performs a variety of duties in support of the product and vendor acquisition process for the Firm
  • This position works with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, prepares and processes purchase orders, monitors inventory, assists in managing vendor contracts, and helps with sourcing third-party vendors
  • The Procurement Analyst works under general supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Manage, track, negotiate and complete ordering process for various IT hardware, telecom, services, and other general purchasing requests as needed
  • Submit and track invoices for payment into payables system and for firm purchase credit card
  • Work closely with IT hardware & telecom managers to provide vendor analysis, review, and technical support
  • Use HelpDesk application to close tickets and answer IT hardware and telecom procurement inquiries
  • Utilize and administer purchasing system to process IT hardware & telecom renewals, new purchases, and other tasks as required by requestors
  • Assist with vendor review process, Request for Proposals (RFPs), Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, production and distribution of reports, and to communicate statuses to stakeholders
  • Analyze supply expenditures to help identify cost saving measures and initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and agreements using filing and contract applications
  • Assist users with annual budget process by providing past procurement information as needed
  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with the department's purchasing strategy and budgets
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk and hear
  • Employee must occasionally lift up to twenty (20) pounds


Requirements

Qualifications
  • At least two (2) years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Knowledge of procurement methods, tools, and documentation for selecting vendors and processing orders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, detailed workflows simultaneously
