Job Title: IT Support Specialist / Audio-Visual Systems Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist / Audio-Visual Systems Technician to provide technical support, system maintenance, and AV coordination services. This role involves managing computing systems, supporting conferencing infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operation of IT and multimedia equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform imaging, deployment, and installation of laptops and workstation systems
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT systems and related resources
- Execute system patching, updates, and operating system refresh activities
- Install and configure peripherals such as printers, projectors, cameras, and audio equipment
- Support and manage video conferencing systems, including setup and troubleshooting
- Administer and maintain conferencing bridge systems
- Coordinate scheduling, calendars, and resource allocation for meetings and conferencing
- Prepare conference rooms and ensure readiness for audio/video sessions
- Conduct pre-event testing of conferencing systems
- Monitor communication systems to ensure operational stability
- Manage inventory, track assets, and maintain documentation
- Coordinate issuance, setup, and return of loaned equipment
- Provide end-user technical support and assistance
- Maintain records and data for reporting and performance tracking
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills in computer systems, networking, and AV equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and documentation practices
- Experience with inventory tracking and asset management
- Ability to use hardware tools and perform cabling/setup tasks
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant IT support or technical experience
- Ability to independently prioritize and respond to technical requests
- Experience with scheduling, coordination, and operational support
- Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined or elevated spaces
Education & Certifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
Preferred:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
