As a Product Delivery Manager in Compute Infrastructure, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way. In this role you are a key leader responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of foundational compute platforms and services. You will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that infrastructure solutions deliver real value, reliability, and performance. Drawing on your deep understanding of infrastructure product delivery, you will guide successful launches, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement through feedback and iteration. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and operational excellence, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including infrastructure engineers, architects, security, and application teams-to deliver high-quality compute solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Develops and execute a product delivery strategy that leverages modern compute technologies (virtualization, cloud, containers, bare metal, etc.) to maximize customer value and operational efficiency
- Collaborate across the infrastructure and application ecosystem to define direction, set priorities, and execute initiatives aligned with business goals and technology advancements
- Inform and review priorities, manage requests, make critical decisions, communicate updates, and escalate issues as needed. Build awareness of dependencies and cross-functional impacts to enable efficient decision-making
- Oversee portfolio planning, dependency management, logistical coordination, and escalation processes to ensure seamless infrastructure delivery.
- Lead discovery efforts and market research to identify customer needs and integrate emerging compute capabilities (e.g., hybrid cloud, edge computing, hardware acceleration) into the delivery roadmap
- Own, maintain, and develop a delivery backlog that supports the strategic roadmap and value proposition, with a focus on infrastructure features and enhancements. Build frameworks and track key delivery metrics such as cost, capacity, utilization, risk posture, reliability, and performance indicators.
- Guide successful product launches, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences, especially for mission-critical infrastructure services. Provide thought leadership to partners and drive adoption of best-in-class delivery and planning processes within the Compute Infrastructure domain.
- Coordinate preparation, logistics, and material development for quarterly planning sessions with key stakeholders across the product and technology ecosystem. Monitor delivery progress, identify areas for optimization, and implement improvements to maximize efficiency, reliability, and impact
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery, program management, or a relevant domain area, ideally with exposure to compute infrastructure (e.g., data center operations, cloud platforms, virtualization, or container orchestration)
- Advanced knowledge of the delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), and infrastructure concepts such as compute resource management, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM), cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven ability to lead product delivery activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management, with a focus on infrastructure products and services
- Demonstrated success in managing and implementing operational effectiveness and portfolio management initiatives for large-scale infrastructure environments
- Proven ability to operate within agile methodologies and deliver scalable, resilient, and stable compute infrastructure solutions
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Experience collaborating with infrastructure engineering, cloud, security, and application teams.
- Familiarity with infrastructure metrics (e.g., uptime, latency, capacity, utilization), performance evaluation, and best practices for operational excellence.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging infrastructure technologies, trends (e.g., hybrid/multi-cloud, edge computing, infrastructure as code), and industry best practices to inform product delivery strategy and execution.
- Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and security requirements in enterprise infrastructure environments.
