Salesforce Cloud Developer

Introduction:

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Cloud Developer with experience in Salesforce Community Cloud and Sales Cloud development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom features and functionalities within the Salesforce platform to create engaging and user-friendly community portals for customer interaction and collaboration. This position is based in Raleigh, NC and requires 5 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom features within the Salesforce Community Cloud platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce tools.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Build UIs for portals, implement self-service features, integrate SSO, and secure external endpoints.
• Model lead to account/contact to opportunity processes, implement automation, and collaborate with CPQ/ERP teams.
• Write custom Apex code, implement APIs, optimize data access, and integrate external systems.
• Design and implement integrations via API-led and event-driven patterns.
• Author unit tests, participate in code reviews, and implement CI/CD processes.
• Enforce security best practices, data encryption, and compliance standards.

Requirements:

Essential Skills & Tools:

• Strong experience with Salesforce Stack including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, Platform Events, CDC, and External Services.
• Experience Cloud expertise including LWR templates, Experience Builder, sharing sets, and external identity.
• Sales Cloud proficiency in leads, opportunities, forecasting, territory, and activity capture.
• Integration and Middleware knowledge in REST, SOAP, Bulk API v2, Named Credentials, OAuth, and SAML.
• Data and Performance understanding with LDV strategies, asynchronous processing, caching approaches, and data quality.
• DevOps and Observability skills using SFDX, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring tools.
• Security and Compliance expertise in FLS, object sharing, guest user hardening, Shield encryption, and audit trails.

Preferred Background & Certifications:

• 5-8+ years of Salesforce experience with 2+ years in Experience Cloud and Sales Cloud at scale.
• Certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Sales Cloud Consultant.
• Nice to have certifications in System/Integration Architect and MuleSoft Developer/Architect.
